HOW CAN YOU HELP?Many small actions have the power to change lives. Here in our country the flame of Ubuntu burns brightly and we at LIKHON iTHEMBA believe in the power of people coming together to keep that flame burning by making a huge difference. We need you as volunteers to help us, help our children in our care and beyond.
COMMUNITY SERVICE POINTS FOR SCHOOL Covid has made challenging for school goers to do their community service, but we know that the points are still required, and we also know that there are many of you with a heart to volunteer;Get in touch with us for a chat, there are so many special little things you can do to help!!
Musicians to sing and play musical instruments with the kids at HOLAH (Weekly)
Anyone with green fingers to help us with our soon to be vegetable garden.
Individuals willing to give up their time and services to help us with basic office admin
Sportsmen & women to come through and teach our kids ball skills, team playing and the rules of the game (Weekly)
have a keen eye and love taking pics? we'd love a photographer to help us regularly take photos at our charity shop
Passionate about cooking? We'd love volunteers who can cook fresh meals that we can stock up and freeze
We need a team to help us with our marketing and fundraising. We need help driving and running our fundraising initiatives.
Calling any Tradies who are able to offer assistance when and if needed (plumbers, electricians etc)
If anyone has a few time to offer to help us run a stall at one or more of the markets selling our Hop shop donations, we would be so thankful.
Throw a good party??Then you are just what we need. Our kids birthdays need planning and curating from start to finish.
Donations to our Charity Hop Shop is what keeps us going – we need people who can source and collect donations.
Creative much? Can you create awesome, catchy, fun posters for our social media campaigns? We need you!
