KIM BROWN AND LEANNE LORRANCE, CO-FOUNDERS OF LIKHON ITHEMBA
About Kim Brown
Kim has always had a passion for helping vulnerable children. Being adopted herself, she understands the importance of these little ones going to a good forever home and being loved unconditionally. Kim has a wide experience background from working in HR, to working with disability in the UK and Australia, owning an ice cream shop and au pairing in South Africa. She feels she has finally found what she is meant to be doing and encourages everyone to come and visit HOLAH, spend time with the babies and grow to understand the importance of homes like HOLAH and see them as positive, happy and safe spaces.
About Leanne Lorrance
Leanne has 10 years of experience working with special needs adults in the UK and Australia. This led her to South Africa to follow her dream of working with those with special needs, from birth upwards, and playing a pivotal role in improving the lives of children that face challenges. Leanne is driven to ensure every child at HOLAH is given a chance to live a better life and a chance to be adopted, no matter their background. She is always willing to step out of her comfort zone if it means being able to help, and is passionate about getting people to do more to help others.
